Meet the Team

Amanda Horton has been a licensed broker and top producer in residential real estate since 2002. She is a second-generation agent to top producing agent mother Pamela Horton. Continuing education is important to Amanda to stay up-to-date on today's real estate trends and practices. Amanda holds designations including ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative), SRES (Senior Residential Real Estate Specialist), and e-Pro. Her former career as a feature film script supervisor required great attention to detail to manage the continuity of each major film department. The same management skills are used today to guide The Horton Team to service clients in a successful sale or purchase. Amanda's degree with a media emphasis brings the studied background of effective marketing outreach. She has designed a strategic marketing campaign for listings that has proven highly effective. Utilizing forward technology backed by a strong team and brokerage support, Amanda is dedicated to providing the highest level of client service from the first meeting to well beyond the end of a transaction.

 

As a premier Laguna Beach real estate agent, Amanda’s intimate understanding of the Laguna neighborhoods and other coastal Orange County cities is extensive and gives her the capability to provide each of her clients with a customized buying and/or selling experience. She has learned the skills necessary to navigate and negotiate Laguna's unique housing market all the while ensuring that the process is as seamless and stress-free as possible.

 

With hundreds of closings over two decades, Amanda was recognized in 2024 as a Real Estate Icon in the Laguna Beach Magazine. Alongside Jace Horton, they are within the top 5% of agents in Laguna Beach. Amanda has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Orange Coast Magazine and Nominated several times for the prestigious Women in Business Award. 

 

Despite the demands of the profession, she remains active in her community sponsoring various events and reaching out to help others in any way that she can. After all, it’s what we put into action that matters and it’s a strong community that builds the friendly coastal neighborhoods around us. While she’s not helping others, you can find Amanda spin cycling to dance music, golfing at The Ranch, leading Girl Scouts or gathering with friends and family in her hometown Laguna Beach.

Jace has been a member of The Horton Team since 2013 and has worked closely with Amanda and Pamela in hundreds of transactions. Jace was born and raised in Laguna Beach, and as an Orange County native, his specific local proficiency and wider regional knowledge help bolster the versatility of the team, giving clients both near and far confidence in their services. Jace's extensive business and finance education from his Bachelor’s degree from Chapman University’s Argyros College of Business and Economics ensures The Horton Team is always up-to-date, knowledgeable about current inventory, and informed about upcoming market trends.
